# Monitor Zapier Zaps with HookPulse check-ins

Add a Webhooks by Zapier step at the end of a scheduled Zap. If a step before it fails, the check-in does not arrive.

## Step 1. Create the monitor

Add a routine named zapier-zap and set how often the job runs. Its page shows the check-in URL: use it in place of https://hookpulse.net/in/YOUR_ID.

## Step 2. Add the last step

Use it on a Zap that runs on Schedule by Zapier, so HookPulse knows when the next run is due. Choose Webhooks by Zapier with the GET event and paste the check-in URL.

## Step 3. Run it once

Test the step in the Zap editor. The routine shows the first check-in. From then on, a missed or failed run sends the alert.
